Hi Kevin! Glad you found us. Congratulations on getting those 19lbs gone ready for your sugery. It is normal to be scared of the unknown and this surgery is a big unknown until you have it. You'll do great with it. You will feel and look so much better and that's motivation enough to keep the healthy eating going. Before my surgery, I just kept telling myself that I have, in my lifetime, eaten enough crap for 5 people and I wasn't going to do it anymore...and it worked. You CAN do it!

Hey Kevin, congratz on making one of the biggest decisions in your life! It will be so worth it and will make the rest of your life just that much easier. I had surgery just under a month ago on march 20th. It has changed my life for the better. Yes my diet has had to change but soon I'll be back to eating what ever I want but chosing to make healthier choices and losing weight. The people here are great and will help you with anything don't be afraid to ask.
Hey Kevin, welcome! It's pretty normal to have that concern. At first your diet will be very strict, but over time you'll find that you can eat almost anything in small quantities, as long as its lowish in fat and sugar and you can get your protein in. Trust me, I'm in school, it makes your life that much easier as you gain energy from losing weight. Keep up the good work, it's worth it!
